Every student currently enrolled for two (2) or more credit hours is automatically a member of the Associated Students of Westminster. The mission of ASW is to promote shared governance on campus; develop a sense of community; facilitate better communication with the faculty, staff, administration, and Board of Trustees; enrich the lives of students attending the college; provide leadership, training, and opportunities for students; and provide a forum for student concerns.
ASW is led by the Student Board and includes the following five branches; ASW Executive, ASW Events, ASW Clubs, ASW Senate, and ASW Judicial. ASW sponsors a wide range of social, cultural, and educational programs, which include dances, lectures, concerts, and community service. Authority and power are established and granted respectively to ASW by the Board of Trustees of Westminster College.
The ASW office is located in the Shaw Student Center.
