The Clubs branch of ASW allows students to form new clubs and improve upon existing clubs. It is overseen by the Clubs President, whom coordinates service projects, facilitates advertising and helps students in the process of creating clubs. The President is also head of the Clubs board.
President, Warren Cook
Warren loves to play soccer, read books, and have meaningful discussions—which is exactly why he loves Westminster. A senior history major in the Honors program, captain of the men’s soccer team, and a Presidential Ambassador, Warren does his best to stay involved on campus. He works as a research assistant and consultant in the Westminster Writing Center. Off campus Warren enjoys taking mid-day naps and traveling as much as possible. What Warren values most as ASW Clubs President is the opportunity to facilitate dialogue between passionate student leaders.
Junior from Ashland, Oregon, Alex majors in biology/premed and is in the Honors program at Westminster College. She’s also a US Para Olympic Team hopeful in 2018 or 2022. She serves on many thing at Westminster, including the ASW Clubs board, President for Hillel, VP of Operations for Students for Choice, and Treasurer for Democracy Matters. Last year Alex was featured in the Hillel College Guide, and this year, was selected to serve on Hillel International’s elite Student Cabinet.
Elaine is a Junior double majoring in English and Spanish. She is heavily involved in various areas across Westminster’s campus, including working in Admissions as a college tour guide and representative, working for Residence Life as a first-year RA, and encouraging club involvement through ASW student government work. She is the President of the Admissions Griffin Ambassadors Club, a club she recently helped to create. Elaine is also a student in the Honors program and participates in the program as the Managing Editor of the Honors newsletter, Honorable Mention, and the Secretary of the Student Honors Council. In her free time, Elaine loves going to the theater (or participating in the productions), golfing with friends, or enjoying the mountains she calls home.
Nate is a senior who is a returning Board Member for the second year. He is a double major in Business Marketing and Management. He has previously been involved in RHA, GriffinQuest, ASW.Events, ASW.Clubs, and Men’s Soccer. Nate enjoys camping, skiing, fishing, and playing soccer.
Cozy hails from Heber City, Utah is a junior at Westminster and is currently exploring a custom major with political science and public health. In addition to being on the ASW clubs board, she is a Resident Advisor in Carleson Hall, ASW Parliamentarian, Students for Choice Condom Ambassador and a Presidential Ambassador. Cozy is especially fond of puns, bad jokes and pop culture references. Cozy’s pronouns are she/her/hers and they/them/theirs.
